Q)Do you provide the digital files to the client? Are these images retouched? Once I have narrowed down to the best the images, I carefully edit them, a process which includes cropping, color-correcting, and providing many in my signature black and white style. These images are your digital proofs and what you will receive on your wedding DVD. These images may be used for personal use only and include a print release. As far as more intensive retouching is concerned, this service is complimentary with ordered product, prints and for images that are selected for your album.
Q)How many photographers do you work with? Crystal is the lead photographer, but all coverage includes an equally awesome second photographer.
Q)Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? I bring multiple cameras, dozens of memory cards, batteries and a variety of lenses.
Q)Do you offer Wedding Albums and Parent Albums? I offer custom designed albums in a variety of sizes: 8 x 8, 10 x 10, and 12 x 12.
Q)What does an Engagement Session Include? An engagement session is included in all collections. This gives me an opportunity to meet you, hangout, take rockin’ photos of you and your fiancé, and help you feel more comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day. The Session includes the edited high-resolution images with print release & private online gallery. You will receive 80 – 100 + images from the session.
Q)Do you offer a Photo Booth? I do not offer a photo booth in any of my collections, but I am part-owner of a sister company, The Minnesota Photo Booth Company. This is not a white backdrop with a photographer, or a photo station. This is an authentic Photo Booth. Any client that books wedding services through Crystal Rose Photography qualifies for 10% off their Photo Booth Rental.
Q)We’re interested. What’s the next step? Typically I book out 9-12+ months; so if you have a date in mind, please get in touch with me via contact request form or by phone. If possible, I will schedule a consultation in person to discuss your wedding day and review my portfolio. To book with Crystal Rose Photography a 25% non-refundable retainer along with your contract is required to secure the date. Dates are limited and on a first come, first serve basis.
Q)What happens after we book with Crystal Rose Photography? You will receive an e-mail with a link to your private client site where you can electronically signed your contract, update contact and wedding information, view updated payment statements and invoices.
If you purchased a collection with an engagement session, please contact me at any time to schedule your session. Engagement photographs are great for Save the Date Cards, Magnets & Guest Books, so no time is too early to schedule these! I normally suggest booking 4-6+ weeks ahead, especially if you have a specific date, location or season in mind.
Three months prior to your wedding you will receive a detailed questionnaire via your client site to help determine the schedule and flow of your special day. From this I will help put together a timeline and shot list to help me capture every important detail of your wedding. I also arrange a final client consultation via phone and often can arrange this at the reception/church 3-4 weeks prior to the wedding.
Q)How does the Album Design Process work? If you ordered a collection with a product credit, your package will include a proof book. This will aid in your decision making process to select your wedding favorites for your album. Once we have those favorite images selected, we will design the first draft for your review, any changes to this are at no additional charge. Once a second draft is completed any additional changes are $10 per photograph. Once you have approved your album design we request an album approval for you to fill which includes your requested cover image/leather color/stamped names. Your album will be then ordered, shipped to my studio for final approval and then mailed to your home.
